Having moved from a larger city, I was worried there wouldn't be as many things to do. I now know that that was a huge misconception!

As soon as I left Louisville I was already planning my adventure back. I just couldn't stay away. Everything is better in Lou!

I followed my wife to Louisville from northwest Ohio, and I was able to find employment in a day. Having so many opportunities to provide for my family now allows me to foster animals through the Humane Society, giving helpless animals a safe place to stay until they’re adopted.

I love how openly and loudly that Louisville supports LGBTQ people. I love how fast our city is growing, while still staying true to our roots and history. I absolutely adore The Highlands where I live and the queer community I have found there. Louisville makes me proud to be from Kentucky

Coming from Dallas, I’m used to ‘Southern Hospitality,” but people in Lousiville are extremely kind, there’s always something to do for any kind of person and I thoroughly enjoy the food scene.
