AFTER GRADUATION
Before and after graduation, this organization will assist students in conducting a job search and can help with connections to resources relevant to healthcare, housing, legal assistance, and childcare. For six months after graduation, a Job Corps Career Transition Specialist will keep in touch with each student to make sure things are going well in their new careers. They also have agreements with community colleges and related institutions to teach career courses and to have individual students take courses to gain college credit, and they can work with students to help them transfer into college programs when appropriate.
