Southern Indiana Works, WorkOne Career Center is the region’s Career Center for Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford, Scott and Washington counties in Indiana. SIW provides individuals with training and career services, and partners with businesses to develop solutions to address their talent needs. This organization also offers workshops to help job seekers stay current in the ever-changing job market. Facilitators cover topics like professionalism, resumes, interview skills, social media, job-seeking strategies, Microsoft Office products, and more. Southern Indiana Works, WorkOne Career Center provides a variety of unique business services to meet the individual needs of employers, including hiring events, assistance in creating a job description, HR solutions, pre-employment screens, and skills training through in-house training programs, The Skillful Network and on-the-job training.

FOR ADULTS
Southern Indiana Works, WorkOne Career Center also assists job seekers with obtaining high wages in in-demand careers through one-on-one career coaching, career exploration, skills assessments, career fairs, and networking events, and, referrals from the WorkOne Business Services Team. Learn more here.

Through a career pathways approach, SIW WorkOne Career Center assists young adults in the attainment of a High School diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education or training, career exploration and education, work-based learning, and other skills development to prepare the next generation of talent.
