You can relive your high school glory days, take the plunge into adult kick ball, or find something to keep the kids busy in Greater Louisville. We offer a variety of sports for kids old and young, helping people get connected, stay healthy and enjoy a little healthy competition.

AQUATICS & SWIMMING

MARY T. MEAGHER AQUATIC CENTER

The Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center offers lap swim, water exercise and swim lessons, as well as a weight room with Cybex, free weight and cardio equipment. Membership packages are available, as well as daily rates.

SWIM CLUB AT LOUISVILLE TURNERS

Louisville Turners offers an Olympic-size swimming pool, diving areas, and pool deck. The Pool House also contains the Snack Shack, which offers a variety of food and drink options during pool hours. Guest passes are available along with memberships and the option to join the Turners-Sawyer Swim Team

RALPH WRIGHT NATATORIUM

The Ralph Wright Natatorium features an eight-lane, 50-meter competition pool with a depth ranging from 4 feet 6 inches to 18 feet. The diving end of the pool features two 1-meter Duraflex diving boards, two 3-meter Duraflex diving boards and a tower with diving platforms at 5-, 7.5- and 10-meters. Public passes are available for monthly, quarterly, or annual membership.

AXE THROWING

FLYING AXES: AMERICAN AXE THROWING LEAGUE

From the American Axe Throwing League & Flying Axes offers a chance to join a unique league! The sporting event everyone in the Bluegrass State has been talking about and waiting for is finally here — the new season of the American Axe Throwing League (AATL)! AATL is seven weeks of “friendly” competition in which you hang out with old friends, meet new ones, and do your best to crush and humiliate them all. You know, like friends do.

Bluegrass Sportsplex located in Elizabethtown, KY, offers a variety of adult basketball leagues as well as open play time. Adult sports at Bluegrass Sportsplex include Basketball, Soccer, Futsal, Pickleball, Baseball, Softball and Volleyball.

MAIN EVENT BOWLING

Main Event Entertainment offers bowling lanes for pros and beginners! Their pro-level lanes will give you the chance you need to challenge yourself and prepare for your next tournament. The state-of-the-art electronic scoring system at Main Event ensures that your abilities are measured accurately, so you can practice to your fullest potential.

PIN + PROOF SPEAKEASY

You read that right! Located at the Omni Louisville Hotel, Pin + Proof can be found with a discreet mural symbolizing “shhh” to discover their speakeasy and travel to a bygone era when alcohol and jazz flowed freely during Prohibition. Share cocktails and enjoy their four professional bowling lanes as you indulge in the opulent and mysterious atmosphere that alluring havens enticed patrons with decades ago.

Vernon Lanes re-opened in 2022 and features 8 lanes from the original business, all of which have been refurbished and refinished! They offer daily rates, private events, and have a full bar and restaurant.

DARTS

GREATER LOUISVILLE DARTING ASSOCIATION (GLDA) LEAGUES

The GLDA has offered Louisville Area’s only steel tip dart league since 1984. GLDA has both Spring and Fall team leagues in 3 divisions that typically compete on Tuesday nights. In addition, Summer leagues are offered for any and all darters of any skill level with emphasis on getting beginners and members new to the league used to and accustomed to playing in a league environment.

DISC GOLF

CHARLIE VETTINER PARK COURSE

Charlie Vettiner Park offers an 18-hole disc golf course. The PDGA describes the course as “challenging – well-defined fairways over varied terrain..”

IROQUOIS PARK COURSE & LEAGUES

Iroquois Park offers an 18-hole disc golf course. Louisville Family Fun described this course as a “full 18 holes, with championship and standard tees. The course starts near the parking lot next to the Iroquois Ampitheater and winds through open fields and up into trees.”

WENDELL MOORE PARK COURSE

Wendell Moore Park has an 18-hole disc golf course in La Grange, KY.

LOUISVILLE SKATING ACADEMY

The Louisville Skating Academy organization dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of figure skating in the Louisville area by encouraging an environment of good sportsmanship while providing training opportunities to meet the needs of all levels of skaters in achieving their personal goals from recreational skating to competition at national and international events. The organization serves the Greater Louisville area, surrounding counties, and southern Indiana.

Baxter Jacks has been voted one of the premiere sand volleyball complexes in the country! The complex located in the Butchertown neighborhood offers 3 outdoor lighted sand volleyball courts, a great viewing area for spectators with plenty of seating, a concession stand and bar, ample parking, and facility rental for up to 500! 6 PACK VOLLEYBALL

6 Pack Volleyball has Louisville’s only premiere permanent structure for indoor sand volleyball. The facility features 4 total sand volleyball courts, 2 inside and 2 outside courts, with the two inside courts temperature-controlled in the winter months. They also offer plenty of seating and a fantastic viewing area for spectators, plus a concession stand and bar. New to the area and want to join a team?
